Publisher's Synopsis
Caroline Mabry is a police officer working the weekend late shift, a place reserved for department drunks and those approaching retirement. Then one night a derelict walks into her station and tells her he wants to confess to a murder.
Nineteen hours later the derelict is still feverishly writing his confession whilst Caroline finds herself scrambling to investigate his long, progressively darker and more sinister tale.
