This book outlines just one of the many epidemics this fallen world produces. We as a human race have an innate desire to raise children and build families. Why is that? But we have all experienced brokenness in some way in our search for the ideal, perfect family bliss that seems out of reach and an illusion or mirage in our emotional desert. All of us also strive to fill a hole placed within our souls that some people have labeled a calling. Many families end up being fractured beyond repair resulting in the orphan epidemic that the foster and adopt calling seeks to solve by grafting in a child onto another family tree as Jesus grafts us into his family.
