Dani, having discovered more about herself than she bargained for, has only one thing in mind. Find Lilith and make her pay. She wants Dani back, but on her terms, playing her game. Dani discovers that submitting to the darkness is a hard and tempting habit to break, but when the handsome angel she has started to care for begs for her forgiveness, she discovers that maybe there is more to fight for. Though, when Lilith's mind games get too close, Dani will have to decide if she's really the monster she's been told she is or if she's the hero she's never wanted to be.

Nicholas hasn't been the same since what happened at The Skies, but putting on a brave face is what sentry angels do, right? With the weight of so many hidden truths on his shoulders and the past haunting him at every turn he must enter the one place that might just break him. Nicholas just wants to make it back home, preferably with a pretty demon by his side, but as harrowing darkness floods his mind and body, the once proud angel will have to swallow his pride and fight for his sanity. He'll learn that the only way back to the light is accepting the dark.
