Oppenheimer's work has strong and clear associations with both the Black Mountain School and the New York School, both of which have been revisited and explored in the past few years. His work and name has been neglected since the bulk of his work was out of print so he is do for a re-discovery.We anticipate some feature articles on the Poetry Project Newsletter, Village Voice and other literary periodicals. This volume will allow Oppenheimer to rejoin his contemporaries such as Robert Creeley on the shelves of bookstores and the readers mind.
