Publisher's Synopsis
Nma, a woman who had been through hell and back, has so many unfair experiences that life threw her way. She is living her life with her son, a product of her painful past, and enjoying a new path she had carved for herself. Suddenly, her hyperactive son crosses the road without looking and is nearly crushed by a car. As she draws closer to the car to thank the driver, who marched the brake timely enough to save the impending disaster, she comes face-to-face with the bigger piece of her painful pasts, CJ.
After much persuasion, she handed her phone number to CJ, and that leads to another journey to unravel the mysteries of the past and the discovery of the real father of her son. There is Nneoma, her friend in the picture and CJ's dad, who made the unraveling much more easier. But there was another tie holding Nneoma and CJ's father together that nearly destroys the sweet friendship of these soul sisters. In the end, Chimdi, Nma's son becomes a victim of the whole unraveling and interconnection. Will the bond they had created survive it?
