Publisher's Synopsis
Lissette Fournier, 24, is the socially cautious, no-nonsense master researcher for Teke Manion and WorldSpan Underwriters in Paris, France. However, when spring comes to town, Lissette's spirit opens to nature, poetry, theater, and even love.
This spring Lissette meets the poetic and funny Adam Brewer, an American, in town to study under the celebrated writer, poet, and professor Alil LeDoux. At Teke's urging, Adam invites Lissette to accompany him to meet LeDoux and enjoy an evening of poetry, great food, champagne, and "games" with some of the city's elite. Lissette jumped at the chance to meet one of France's most talented poets and one of her heroes.
That first night and the next few days were amazing; Lissette and Adam were in the city falling in love, despite caution from others about moving too fast. Lissette was flying on the energy of the spring.
The sessions with LeDoux start to live up to his hyper-sexualized reputation. At first, it was fun. Then it turned Lissette off and made her suspicious. One night it made LeDoux a dead man.
Lissette was in the wrong place at the wrong time wearing the wrong thing. Now she needs Teke Manion and Camille DeSoronne to help her survive her spring love affair.
