The fall of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, marked a profound change in the consciousness of societies around the world on an economic, political, military, cultural, and philosophical level. In the opinion of UFO expert Vicente Fuentes, however, the tragedy also has something to reveal about the UFO phenomenon, given the sightings of unidentified flying objects during the attacks. The author examined, minute by minute and second by second, all of the available images from that day and discovered 35 different instances of illuminated, spherical UFOs hovering over the World Trade Center. In this revealing proposal, he attempts to answer questions such as What is the motivation of UFOs? How is it possible that witnesses of the attacks did not see the UFOs? Have similar objects appeared during other key moments of the 20th century? and Is it possible that the appearance of UFOs in photographs is intentional—a calling card, in some sense?
