Sadie Powell is having a very bad day. Not only does she spill her expensive, organic, free-trade coffee, she runs into her sleazy ex and gets questioned by the FBI. Oh, yeah. Then she gets kidnapped.
Chase Lundgren is just trying to get answers to make the undercover job from hell end. But when he runs into Sadie, a blast from his past, and finds that she's about to come up against some very dangerous men, he does the first thing that comes to his mind: he stuffs her in his trunk and high-tails it outta there.
Now they've restarted on the wrong foot, and this undercover agent has to win Sadie's trust to keep them both alive. But building trust suddenly becomes something more, and not only are their lives at stake, but their hearts as well. Neither are sure they're ready to risk it all, but they might not have a choice when the bad guys come knocking.
