Publisher's Synopsis
I'm not so sure that my life has been much different from many others. But when I think back on my sixty-eight years, I'm not sure I would have done it much differently. I've learned a lot of life's lessons the hard way, and some things came easy to me. But my life has provided me with many opportunities to touch and to be touched by others. And so many of those moments have been life lessons that I've carried over the years. I would not want things to have been any different. I've been blessed to the end of the earth with my wife, children, grandchildren, and thousands of friends. During my life, I've experienced two life-threatening accidents. Both of them took me to death's doorstep. But through the grace of God, the love and prayers of friends and family, and sheer determination on my part, I've come back stronger each time. There are reasons God has kept me on this earth, and perhaps some of those reasons are to tell my stories, to give thanks and credit to God, and pray that others will be touched and moved by my experiences.
