Much has been predicted about the end of the world. Such speculations are not new. They've been voiced for thousands of years. The one common effect that these prophecies and musings have in the church, is to divert us away from God's simple message in Christ. Millennium Now: The Refining of the Bride in this Age, looks at the confusion brought by historical traditions and traces the institutionalisation of the church which has birthed a range of divisive denominations, obscuring the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ and God's singular purpose in Him.
At one extreme we can find ourselves lured into idolatrous world watching with a hope of judgment of those outside of Christ. On the other we find a cloistering away from the world we are called to serve. There is no holy middle ground. Rather, the position in Christ is beyond the kingdoms of this world in the profound divine-to-human relationship. Relationships are all we take with us when we meet our own "last day". All else is unworthy of the Christian. Only in this wonderful relationship with the loving Father God in Christ, will we find the power to overcome. Millennium Now explores all other religious paths that purport to be Christian, yet fail us, and calls us out of the Babylon Church into relationship with Jesus.
