Publisher's Synopsis
Nine-year-old Tommy Ricker spent most of his Little League time in center-field, daydreaming of a sandlot like his father had when he was a boy. His father said baseball, for him, was just something to do on Saturday until the swimming pool opened or the Saturday matinee started. He said nobody kept score or took it seriously. Tommy just wants to play ball like his father did, on a sandlot with no coaches and screaming parents. But Tommy had no idea how many people's lives, would be changed by his sandlot search.
