This is a week-by-week collection of short pieces to be read by expectant mothers, taking them through their pregnancy and helping them consider the development of the child within them until its birth. Each entry comprises of a short prayer, a reflection on the growth and changes of the foetus, its mother's response, and an inspirational quote. Though its basis is undoubtedly Christian, this book aims to reassure and strengthen parents of all faiths as they prepare for the birth of their child and aims to increase in them a sense of wonder at the miracle of new life.
