As they veer towards Alamo, Nevada, carving a swathe of carnage, the military scrambles to contain an error too fatal to admit. Created to be unstoppable on the battlefield, these creatures are unbound by human constraints, sowing fear with their very existence. And yet, a child - innocent and pure - might hold the key and her bond with the "mon-ters", as she calls them, might be the only hope for a beleaguered community. Finally, a covert black-ops team is sent to eradicate the evidence. But in the grips of terror, it is but a handful of survivors who end up facing these creatures head-on. Who will die?
