Publisher's Synopsis
After completing the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain, I made my way back through Spain and into southern France, Nice and Marseille. My main goal was traveling through most of the small countries of Europe, Andorra and Monaco in this area. From there, I continued my journey to Turin and Genoa, Italy followed by Luzerne, Switzerland and another small country, Lichtenstein. To get to Luxembourg, I traveled through southwestern Germany and the beautiful city of Trier. The second part of this summer's adventure continued in Russia as I flew from Paris over to Moscow for a week. After meeting the RMI climbing team, we traveled down to Mineralnye Vody and the town of Azau in the Caucasus Mountains. Once we were acclimatized, the team made a successful summit attempt of the highest peak in Europe, Mt Elbrus. The team then flew out to St Petersburg to end this part of my summer's adventure.
