First Sergeant Theodore T. Spencer Jr. closed out his career as fi rst sergeant retired from Fort Stewart, Georgia. Prior to the above retirement, the fi rst sergeant taught drill and ceremony at the University of Scranton, Scranton, Pennsylvania. During this tenure, First Sergeant Spencer also developed a drill team which went on to receive honors in competition. From this assignment he was sent to Vietnam for a tour."--.
