My Phonics Decodable Readers with Blue Marlin Readers: a collection of 109 books, I See Collection of 64 books that build upon the phonograms and words learned with My Phonics Words. The series Alphabet: Consonants (21 book set) has all of the hard consonants, including the hard sound of y, with the sound at the beginning. However, since the letter x is typically found at the end of words, the words in this book end with the letter x. Each short vowel gets a book in the series Alphabet: Short Vowels (5 book set). The vowel-consonant-e pattern (aka "Bossy e" or "Magic e") and the two vowel sounds of the letter y are in the series Long Vowels (7 book set). The series Consonant Teams (6 book set) has books for the digraphs ch, ck, sh, tch, and wh. In the Long Vowel Teams (12 book set), the phonograms of ai, ay, ee, ea /e/, eigh, ie /e/, ie/i/, igh, oa, ow /o/, ue, and ui are taught. The series Special Vowel Teams (8 book set) has books for au, aw, oi, the two sounds of oo, ou, ow, and oy. The phonograms of ar, er, ir, or, and ur (aka "Bossy R") are in the series Vowel + R (5 book set). They are designed to give students reading practice with decodable words in simple sentences that relate to the colorful illustrations on each page. The interactive approach asks, "What do you see?" and adds a response beginning with "I see". Phonograms in words are in a contrasting color. Tiny illustrations next to words with the phonograms provide support. Teachers can do a formative assessment or quick check by listening to student responses on pages with illustrations of additional examples of words with the same phoneme that ask, "What do you see?". My Phonics Readers: I See gives the students the opportunity to practice a newly learned phonogram with extra support needed. Marlin Phonics Readers 25 titles give practice in applying specific phonograms in longer text and use the dyslexie font to support those with dyslexia while still keeping the letters easy to read for others. My Decodable Readers 20 titles continue to build fluency and comprehension skills with engaging fiction that use high-frequency words and specific phonograms. All books include a Lexile level.
