"Now Try This" is a series of four textbooks designed to cover the complete Standard Grade and GCSE mathematics syllabuses. An introductory book provides students with reinforcement in those topics causing difficulties at S1 and S2 levels. This is followed by three volumes progressing in difficulty and achievement to credit level. The books have been designed to encourage independent learning, as students can work through the units on their own, with cues provided in the text when and where teacher intervention may become necessary.;This "Green book" is for credit level and those students who will do the higher level GCSE. It is a natural progression from the intermediate course.;A teacher's manual accompanies each book, which includes content and syllabus notes, advice on the relevant computer software which may be used in conjunction with classwork and solutions to various investigations.
