A botched bomb-extortion plot leaves a Reno landmark, The Royale Casino, on the brink of ruin. Detective Ruben Oliveras scrambles for motives and suspects while fending off pressure from the police chief and the mayor's office to close the case with an arrest. When Oliveras discovers a secret high rollers' gambling club on the top floor of The Royale, he exposes a guest list of Reno's wealthiest, most respected citizens and a fortune in hidden cash. Oliveras doesn't know who he can trust as he struggles to decide whether to keep his ethics or take the cash. But the clock is ticking and the casino could collapse any day and with it all that cash.
