Open The Door and Other Stories is a book of seven short stories about some of the residents of Innsbruck Grove, an upmarket apartment complex, and how their lives intertwine with each other. It uncovers the flaws; the pain and sorrow and longings of some, the loneliness, dreams and secrets of others and how people and events touch their lives. It reveals how to love and be loved is still the active ingredient in everyone's life. It culminates in a gathering at the year end residents' dinner where the revelations of a man who was looked upon as an unkempt nuisance surprises them all.
