Alexis Grant has everything she has ever wanted: fashionable clothes, social standing, a Manhattan apartment, and a mother who pays for it all. That is, until her mother is arrested for embezzlement and the government seizes everything. Left jobless, homeless, and strapped for cash, Alexis throws caution to the wind and decides the time is right to do that big road trip across the U.S. with her best girlfriend, who is bringing along her boyfriend—and he is bringing along his buddy, tattoo artist Ethan James.
