Publisher's Synopsis
A lot had changed for me, since I came to the little town of Stoney Brook. My cover was blown, and I was no longer an agent for the Eastern Confedracy, the giant dogs had followed me here and started chewing up the town's folk and all sorts of other strange things were coming to life.
Truthfully, I didn't know what to do with myself. I always had a war or duties to attend to so sitting in my dentist office waiting for some kid needing braces to come along didn't sit well with me. I decided to close up shop and make a trip out west. War was coming and I needed to find out for myself if these people are deserving of being killed. I'm not afraid of going to war, sometimes it's necessary in order to keep a balance on things. But just once, I would like to ride into battle knowing that my enemy was deserving of what I was serving up. The world is a complicated place, but maybe, just maybe I could clear up some of the gray areas. That was before I met the People of the Sphere.
