Publisher's Synopsis
Craig Hamilton is a tennis playing, chemical engineer at West Virginia University. Instead of going on to graduate school in 1969, he is drafted into service during the unpopular Vietnam War. He endures Basic and AIT, and then is really stressed with OCS. After a year stateside, and less than 11 months left in the service, he surprisingly is sent to northern South Vietnam to become a provost marshal at a small post. The difficulties of becoming a lieutenant are over shadowed by his experience in Vietnam. On return home he is met by yet another challenge-returning to civilian life.
