Publisher's Synopsis
This review of inorganic heterophase materials addresses the structure and physical and chemical properties of advanced inorganic solids. The author approaches the subject from the viewpoint of inorganic solids as polymers, examining both their formation and modern investigation methods. Among the topics discussed are composite electrochemical coatings and new developments in the area of non-metallic glass-like heterophase materials and coatings. Emphasis is placed on the electrochemical coatings and structure of deposited composite coatings.
