Publisher's Synopsis

A triple-bill of horror films. In 'The Raven' (2012), when a string of murders takes place across 19th-century Baltimore, detective Emmett Fields (Luke Evans) realises that the crimes closely resemble the fictional murders published weekly in the local newspaper by struggling writer and social misfit Edgar Allan Poe (John Cusack). Suspecting that the serial killer is using Poe's writings as direct inspiration for his grisly work, Fields approaches the author to ask for his help with snaring the killer. In 'Mary Shelley's Frankenstein' (1994), obsessed with creating life, Victor Frankenstein (Kenneth Branagh) harnesses the power of electricity in order to reanimate the body of a once-dead criminal (Robert De Niro). When he then witnesses the abhorrence of this reborn creature, Frankenstein is appalled and quickly abandons it. However, the creature is aware of its origins and comes looking for revenge. Finally, in 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' (1992), lovelorn Transylvanian Prince Vlad (Gary Oldman), stalks the streets of Victorian London feeding off human blood as he seeks out the beautiful Mina (Winona Ryder), a reincarnation of his lost love Elisabeta. Mina is also courted by gentleman estate agent Jonathan Harker (Keanu Reeves), whose chum Doctor Van Helsing (Anthony Hopkins) wants to put an end to this vampire business once and for all.
