Publisher's Synopsis
Veronica (Ronni) Metcalf is working her way up in the pharmaceutical company she works for, and is hoping to get promoted when her boss moves into his new role of National Sales Manager. Ronni has lived her life by the rules her mother instilled in her. But when she meets Gavin, a handsome American in the bar of the hotel where she has stayed on after her company's conference, she breaks her first rule of No One Night Stands. She sneaks out of his bed, and then runs into him later the next day. They argue and she runs off and hurries back home before he can speak to her. Thinking she will never see him again, and although angry with herself for jumping into bed, she goes back to work on Monday anticipating her promotion. Imagine her surprise when she finds that not only is there no promotion, but Gavin Phoenix is now her new boss and she has broken another rule of sleeping with someone at work. Gavin had been happy that they had departed without exchanging details, his life is complicated. But now he is excited to see her and has decided to find out more about the intriguing woman who ran away from him at the hotel. Ronni is determined to keep the relationship professional, and forget that they have already seen each other naked. But can they?
