The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is intended to be used by the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra everywhere in the world. It has 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage together with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
Better thermal performance is expected since Samsung increased the vapor chamber from the Galaxy S23 Ultra by almost twofold.
Samsung's "smartest AI phone ever" is the Galaxy S24 Ultra, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. With the phone's on-demand Live Translate feature, you may talk in other languages directly within the app and have real-time translations provided. As part of One UI 6.1, further AI features will include a Smart Keyboard and Dynamic Lock Screen.
The S Pen is a standout feature of the Galaxy S Ultra, and the S24 Ultra also contains one.
Samsung has upgraded its camera with a new 5x camera module, which is probably going to be a 50MP periscope device. That translates to about 120mm in terms of optical length, and by using its superior sensor and optics to the current 10x camera, it will also function as a 10x and 100x shooter.
Regarding video, the primary camera can record in 8K at up to 30 frames per second and in 4K at up to 120 frames per second.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has emergency messaging via satellite support via the 3GPP standard out of the box, however it's unclear if this functionality will be available in other areas and how much it will cost.
Although the camera's optical hardware remains same (5x), a number of enhancements have been implemented with the new chipset.
The main camera images on the Galaxy S24 Ultra have been AI-optimized. Samsung apparently made sure to use a new algorithm that recognizes 12 different types of objects to correct the Galaxy S23 Ultra's murky output.
The best mode is night mode. Photos taken at night with the zoom cameras are brighter thanks to Nightography Zoom. Another AI function is called Generative Edit, which allows you to rearrange objects, delete them, or replace a space with anything you wish (a Samsung account and an Internet connection are needed for this).
