Sayyid Qutb (1906-1966) was an Egyptian Islamic theorist, teacher and author. As a member of the Muslim Brotherhood he was convicted of plotting to assassinate Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser, and was executed in 1966. His writings are said to have influenced Osama Bin Laden's political theories. This volume is a selective listing of doctoral dissertations and master's theses worldwide that examine the writings of Sayyid Qutb.
