Publisher's Synopsis

A comedy double bill. 'Scorched' is a comedy crime thriller starring Alicia Silverstone and Woody Harrelson. Three bank tellers are sick of their dead end jobs and each separately plan to knock the place over. Sheila (Silverstone) wants to break into the ATM, while Stuart (Paolo Constanzo) merely wants to 'borrow' some cash to fund a weekend at Las Vegas. Woods (Harrelson) has the most elaborate plan of all, but unfortunately all three are going to have their schemes derailed by a shopworker (Rachael Leigh Cook) who is out for revenge against a local millionaire (John Cleese). Whilst 'Monty Python's Meaning of Life' sees The Monty Python team embark after the holy grail of human understanding with a series of sketches aimed at discovering the meaning of life itself. Includes the show-stopping anti-contraception musical number 'Every Sperm is Sacred', a schoolmaster's overly vivid demonstration of the facts of life for his students, and the infamous sequence in which a restaurant diner goes one mint too far...
