This book presents theoretical and econometric analyses of the relationship between the effects of Roadside Stations and the Sustainable Development Goals. There are 1,198 roadside stations in Japan (2022) that contribute to developing the local economy and addressing global issues such as disaster prevention, poverty, and hunger. The concept of Roadside Stations has been adopted in nine countries.
