Publisher's Synopsis
The colonists established a settlement they named Riverside. It is a thriving community of forty scientists and construction personnel exploring and exploiting the newly discovered planet.
Blake Bond, & Francine McKinney, and Greg Schultz, & Regina Gibbs have married. Like all couples, these two couples struggle to balance excitement and boredom as the days turn into months and eventually years.
Blake and Fancine venture forth To Dhá, the second moon of Blume, and to the as-yet-unexplored eastern continent of Oirtheara, a continent on a different evolutionary path than the western continent of Thiara, where their settlement Riverside is located.
Greg and Regina discover their disparity of backgrounds. Does it affect their current view of each other? Which is more vital, their German and Scottish heritages or their commitment to each other?
Does other intelligent life in the universe preclude the existence of God, or is it more evidence of His creativity?
