Her parental figures - including her Watcher, Giles - have been preoccupied with their own relationships of late and Buffy is starting to feel somewhat forgotten. But as vampire activity rises and Giles in particular becomes increasingly distant, Buffy suspects a supernatural source. With friends old and new, the Slayer unmasks the evil entities at the root of Giles's unusual behaviour - and finds that even a Watcher can be watched...
