Does everything go the way Olive wants it to go? No. Her life is like almost every other human. We face ups and downs. The downs may seem much lower than they really are until we meet someone who has faced even worse circumstances than our own. One of the friends makes the stories livelier. She has been through so many trials and tribulations but she keeps pressing on with an ever-present positive attitude.
