This pack includes a set of picture cards illustrating basic vocabulary from "Splash!" and a set of matching word cards. The cards are divided into six lexical sets: animals and people, buildings, transport, clothes, food and furniture. They can be used to pre-teach vocabulary or to review.;Ideas for using Splash cards include: presentation of vocabulary; guessing games; matching games; finding partners; finding groups; a memory game; touch it!; whose is it?; tombola; fill the house; and a spelling game.;"Splash" is a four-level course for 7 to 12-year-olds, which has been designed to make learning English easy and fun. It combines English with cross-curricular topics chosen for their interest to children. Pupils learn by doing, in pairs and in groups, through stories, games, drama, songs and rhymes, and consolidate what they learn through book-centred activities.
