With a sigh of relief Miss Chelston pursued her way to the Marble Arch, thinking pensively as she rode slowly along that it was a pity Susan Drummond had not the slightest idea of making herself fit to appear in decent society, and wishing she felt as little afraid of horses as that young lady.
