Publisher's Synopsis
NYPD homicide detective Sara Pezzini always knew she wanted to become a cop. Her father was a highly revered policeman, until the day he was shot down by an unknown assailant. Working on a case that eventually led to her being mortally wounded, Sara encountered a mystic weapon of unknown origin called the Witchblade, which chose her to become it's current wielder. Since then, Sara's greatest on-going battle has not been against any criminal mastermind, but with the Witchblad itself, because is she really in complete control of the weapn...or is it controlling her...?
