As far as Jessica Winslow is concerned, the only good vampire is a staked vampire. Ever since a vampire killed her mother when she was only five, Jessica dedicated her life to staking as many vampires as possible. So she journeys to America where a colony of chupacabras lives and, if she has her way, will soon die.John Boehler is aware that vampires exist, especially after noticing that a killer vampire is targeting known criminals who have evaded the law. And as a lawyer frustrated with the legal system, John likes his work. So he walks the streets at night looking for him. But he never meant to save that killer vampire's life. Jessica couldn't be more annoyed. Just as she was about to stake the killer vampire, John tackles her and the vamp disappears. So as Jessica, her vampire slaying family, and a reluctant John band together to find this killer vampire, John is attacked, becoming a changeling himself. And for a reason Jessica can't explain, this slayer can hardly control her attraction to John. As the passion between Jessica and John flares up, can they find this killer vampire before it's too late?
