Roy Decker was only known as X. the CIA's deadliest assassin, now after going rouge he is finished with the world of professional killing and is enjoying a new quiet life on the remote West African coast with his girlfriend Samantha Freedman. Decker's peace is quickly interrupted when Luther, a veteran intelligence officer takes Sam hostage. Luther gives Roy nine targets that must be eliminated or else he will execute Samantha. Roy Decker goes back into his violent past to once again become X. In the pursuit of his targets embarks him on a ruthless fight against the world's most powerful men from Russia to Iran. As he battles for his own life and Sam's Luther gives X a tenth name to assassinate, a hit of historical proportions that puts Decker choosing between his the future of his country and the love of his life. While Luther sends Decker on a killing spree, agent Darrell Webber is tasked with finding the assassin X and stopping him before he completes his list. However, Webber soon learns that his job is not cut and dry, that in the CIA there is no line between good and evil. Webber must work around his clandestine agency to find X's true identity and his objective before he crosses off Ten Names.
