Publisher's Synopsis
The following stories and myths have come to us thanks to poets and storytellers such as Hesiod and Homer. They are as accurate as possible. Nevertheless, many of the documents and relics of our ancestors have vanished through time. These anecdotes always leave room for minor variations and ambiguities. The purpose of this modest work is to present children, as well as adults, with these wonderful Greek tales that illustrate our past, our present and our future. My motivation is to allow youngsters to have contact with a wondrous world of wisdom that will help them regardless of the path they choose in life. It is important they realize that these anecdotes yield invaluable life lessons and that the characters in the stories often teach us about unwavering courage in the face of victory and defeat.
