Books are written, read, stored and burned. Other species can feel love, hate, remorse and even loneliness. They can even have sophisticated ways of communication, interesting ways of using various tools, as well as being able to built amazing social structures. But it is only the human entity that has come up with the idea of the book. This is truly the only thing that undoubtedly separates humanity from everything and everyone else in nature. Only human beings write, read and store books. This book intends to pay homage to this uniquely human endeavor.
Vasile Munteanu was born in Romania and immigrated to the United States as a teenager. He has written over 11 books in different domains such as fiction, poetry and continental philosophy. He teaches Critical Thinking at the College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas.
