Christina Rivera loves her morning trip from her Staten Island home to her little bakery in New York City. The sun rising over the New York Skyline is one of her favorite parts of every morning. She also enjoys socializing with her customers and listening to their problems; and, since the Twin Towers fell only a few days before, everyone has something to talk about. As Christina opens her shop for the day, she sees street vendor lying on the ground, dead. NYPD homicide detective Lieutenant Xander Kline was not expecting his fiancée, Christina Rivera to call him saying that she had found a dead body outside her bakery. Nor did he expect this murder to be one of the toughest cases he ever had. But that is quickly what this became as another body is discovered. Will Xander and Christina solve this mystery before it is too late? Or will the murderer get what he wants?
