Dr. Bland retires to his office to rest, complaining of a headache. But later, his fellow scientists find him slumped over his desk - dead. In his forehead is a round hole, edged with burn marks. He has apparently shot himself - but there is no sign of a gun. The only clue is a copper bullet, of the type used in a .38 revolver.
