Publisher's Synopsis

Kenneth Morris (1879-1937) was a Welsh author and theosophist. He lived in California from 1908 to 1930 as a member of staff of the Theosophical Society headquarters at Point Loma. The last seven years of his life were spent back in his native Wales, during which time he founded seven Welsh theosophical lodges. In the verdict of Ursula K. Le Guin, Morris appears as one of the three master prose stylists of fantasy in the 20th century, together with E. R. Eddison and J. R. R. Tolkien. His works include: The Fates of the Princes of Dyfed (1914), The Theosophical Path: Golden Threads in the Tapestry of History (1915-1916), The Three Bases of Poetry: A Study in English Verse (1917), The Crest-Wave of Evolution (1919-21), The Secret Mountain and Other Tales (1926) and Book of the Three Dragons (1930).
