Publisher's Synopsis
In the city of Jeytonburg, on the island territory of Nuland off the Gulf Coast, the bizarre murder of an aging homeless man leaves the city's police department and public baffled. Much of the blood has been drained from his body and he has been left in an alleyway for passers-by to find him.
A private investigator and former police detective named Judith Beckner will now work alongside her assistant, Yehoshua, in aid of the police to discover a strange underworld of murderers hiding in the city's less desirable neighborhoods who are hiding a secret from the public eye.
