Every penny of proceeds from book sales will be donated to Startup Aggieland, a multidisciplinary business incubator and accelerator devoted to helping current Aggies pursue their dreams. This is truly a one-of-a-kind book designed to propel current and former students to reach their entrepreneurial goals!
Rusty Burson is currently the Director of Membership and Communications at Miramont Country Club in Bryan, Texas. He previously spent 16 years as the associate editor of 12th Man Magazine and vice president with the 12th Man Foundation. Burson, a 1990 graduate of Sam Houston State, began his professional career as a newspaper reporter and editor in Galveston and Fort Worth. After leaving the newspaper industry, Burson took a role in municipal public relations and became an editor for numerous business publications in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Burson joined the 12th Man Foundation, the fundraising organization for Texas A&M athletics, in 1998 and joined Miramont in 2014. He has more than 25 years experience as a journalist, and he has authored 19 previous books, mostly associated with A&M athletics. He lives in College Station with his wife, Vannessa, and the couple's three children--son, Payton, and daughters, Kyleigh and Summer.
