The Bible has been demeaned and relegated to the bottom of the pile of things we look to to give ourselves meaning and purpose in our lives (and I am referring to those inside the Church). Through this examination I hope to shed the light of truth into areas which many professing believers refuse to see. In this book are discussed in depth a number of issues among the many facing the Church body today, such as: charity, the charismatic movement, worldliness and the abandonment of the Bible. If you are interested in an extremely brainy textbook from a celebrated academic or a feel-good bit of fluff from a popular mega-church pastor, I am not those people and this is not that book. My only interest lies in praising the Lord Jesus and in making His name known to all men.
