Publisher's Synopsis
Todd and his friends have made powerful enemies during their short stint as heroes. Dr. Styx was only the beginning, now someone new is sending super villains to kill the Samaritans, attacking them both in public and at their homes. Meanwhile the team discovers that someone they consider an ally might be a ticking time bomb of evil. As if that weren't enough, Animus has gotten tired of waiting for Todd to come to him and arrives in Rollmore to find Todd and his book even as the Ebon Hawk hints at a disaster looming nearby. Oh, and there's a serial killer in town as well, but that's the least of Todd's problems because Kismet's mother arrives to inspect her potential son-in-law...
