For over a thousand years, the seven Feasts of the Lord were celebrated by the Jews as backward-looking memorials of events which had already taken place in the history of Israel. However, during the time of Christ's crucifixion, a curious pattern began to emerge which revealed a forward-looking prophetic aspect of the seven holidays of God. Very quickly, the early church was surprised to discover that certain aspects of Jesus' death and resurrection had exactly mirrored the celebratory activities of those holidays which God had preordained!
