Publisher's Synopsis
At 24, Steph is a widow. Her husband Tom was brutally murdered and now, contact with the victims' aid organization, the Sherpas, is beginning to bring Steph back into the world. The Sherpas encourage her to visit other victims and she soon meets an old lady, Alice, and the recently bereaved Laurie.
