Publisher's Synopsis
'Haikus' are a type of Japanese short poems that follow specific rules. Technically the poems compiled here do not follow some of those rules and therefore are Technically considered 'senryūs'. However, "The senryest of ūs" doesn't make for an amusing title.
If you're wondering whether or not to get this book based on this little blurb, you should absolutely do it. Definitely get it because you won't regret it. See? I rhymed even though I wasn't trying. Although Haikus aren't about rhyming... And this book isn't (technically) about haikus. Anyways, enjoy the book, assuming you buy it, which I know you will.
