Scotland, 1955
This time, Robert couldn't escape the invitation to the traditional grouse shooting at Castle Gladoch in the Midlands - after all, the Earl of Gladoch is his brother-in-law's uncle. So, Robert travels to the Scottish wilderness along with Miss Henderson. However, it's not just countless grouses meeting their demise, but also the stable boy Carmichael Foxling. Naturally, Robert has to take up the investigation. While Miss Henderson is busy charming a handsome lord, Robert receives support from his nephew James and his friend Charles in unraveling this peculiar case.
